I work in both private practice and for the National Health Service. My first NHS appointment was to the Royal London Hospital where I worked for 19 years as a consultant, from April 1998 to October 2017.
From October 2017, I have moved to Southampton where I was appointed to University Hospital as a paediatric orthopaedic surgeon, joining a team of 5 other paediatric orthopaedic consultant colleagues.
I am an experienced Trauma & Orthopaedic surgeon and I have worked at one of the UK’s busiest trauma hospitals. I now work at University Hospital which is also a busy Level 1 trauma centre as well as providing a tertiary referral service for paediatric orthopaedic conditions for south of England and the Isle of White
I am happy to see and manage all aspects of children's orthopaedics including hip, knee and foot problems and conditions affecting the upper limb. Children with cerebral palsy are referred on to one of my paediatric orthopaedic colleagues.
I teach undergraduate medical students and postgraduate trainees as well as lecturing on postgraduate courses in Trauma & Orthopaedics.
